We've said it before, and we'll say it again… it's the little things in life!
Little Bird is a three-year-old pet caique who loves to whistle, hop and play. In 2015, the funny ham of a bird went viral after his mom posted a simple yet hilarious video on Facebook — all because he decided to do a happy dance with a simple paper towel.
Leanne Guzzwell, Little Bird's owner, was cleaning the bird's cage when he spotted the paper towel and decided to break into an impromptu performance. She said he never played with paper towels before this moment, but loves to hop around on the floor with various household items. Could this little guy be any cuter?!
Guzzwell couldn't believe Little Bird's clip went so massively viral. "I had shared the video publicly so I could share it to a few bird groups," Guzzwell wrote in an email to CBC. "I knew other bird owners would appreciate the video but I had NO idea how many views and shares it would get. Everyone loves him!"
According to BirdChannel.com, "Caiques are always on the go and are lovingly described by owners as the 'A.D.D' parrot. Native to South America, the enthusiasm a caique puts into everything it does makes it an attractive and comical pet. Always on the go, never stopping for a second, a caique is busy, busy, busy until it falls asleep."
