Many women have dealt with pesky chin hairs — including Heidi Klum. The supermodel admitted during a recent interview with Real Simple that she has a chin hair that’s “hanging on for dear life.” As she gets older, she admittedly has found more unexpected hairs popping up on her body, and some of them are “as long as [her] pinky finger.”

Her pesky chin hairs seemingly appear out of nowhere.
During the interview, which was published on February 13, Heidi described finding chin and chest hairs. “It’s like, ‘Where are you coming from all of a sudden; you were not there yesterday?'” she said. Her chin hair is especially difficult to deal with. “The one that I have on my chin is hard; it’s hanging on for dear life,” she told Real Simple. “If I come with a tweezer, when I pull it out, it’s a whole tree trunk!”
She also has ‘a boob hair.’
Her chin hair might be the peskiest hair she finds on her body, but it’s not the only one. “I have a chin hair and I have a boob hair — I would say it’s as long as my pinky finger,” she explained.
She’s noticed that she has been finding more body hairs recently. “It’s strange what happens with age,” Heidi told the publication. “All of a sudden, you have hairs growing out of various places.”

Heidi feels even more confident as she gets older.
While aging often comes with body changes and unexpected hairs, Heidi believes confidence increases as we get older. “I think our confidence gets better with age,” she told Real Simple. She went on to explain her thoughts on aging. “I just did a campaign with my mom — she’s 81. I look at her, and I’m like, ‘Dang it, I hope I’m going to look like this at 80.’ I’m not very critical on myself.”
She added that she learned about the importance of self-confidence from her mom. “My mom said you have to be happy with the person you see in the mirror; you live your life with you, and if you’re not happy with you, it’s hard to be happy with anything that’s happening outside of you,” Heidi told the publication.
For Valentine’s Day, Heidi shared a bikini photo and a few sweet photos of her husband.
Heidi’s Valentine’s Day bikini photo radiates confidence. “Happy Valentine’s Night,” she captioned the Instagram post. “Happy Weekend. Sending LOVE.” For the occasion, she also shared a photo of a framed picture in which she’s kissing her husband, Tom Kaulitz. “Every day is Valentine’s Day with you,” she captioned the image.
Because Heidi is 16 years older than Tom, she’s used to people questioning the relationship. She thinks a lot of the criticism comes from “spitefulness,” she previously told Glamour. “Perhaps many people also think I’ve had too much luck in life. I have a great job, I get to travel the world, I can buy expensive things,” she told the magazine. “And now I’ve also got myself such a great man.”
She added that she’s not naive and is fully aware that their age difference could be a problem in the future, but right now, she is focused on living in “the here and now.”
She deals with aging by not overthinking it.
Heidi knows that aging can’t be avoided, so she tries to avoid stressing about it. “The good thing is that my eyesight is getting worse and I can’t see everything so clearly anymore,” she joked when speaking to Glamour. But, in all seriousness, she added, “I just accept it — there’s nothing you can do about it anyway. Why overthink it? It is what it is.”
