Little Ansleigh is just 3 years old, and recently, her curiosity and wonder got the best of her. Dad came home to find that his adventurous daughter decided to take some initiative and chop off her own hair. Yup. Her pretty, blonde, shoulder-length locks have suddenly been replaced by a mangled, messy mullet. Ansleigh has got some explaining to do.
"Why'd you cut your hair?" Dad asks.
"Because Jessica cuts hair," Ansleigh responds.
You see, Miss Jessica is a professional hairstylist who went to school for hairstyling, and Ansleigh wanted to practice on herself so she could be just like her. The only problem? Ansleigh ended up cutting off most of her hair in the process! Instead of shaming and yelling at his daughter, Dad is kind and understanding. It's obvious that she thought she was going to be in big trouble, but she learns a valuable lesson about growing up in the process.
In the end, Ansleigh comes to the right conclusion once she realizes her hair will have to grow back in. "Soon, I'm gonna work with my friend Jessica. When I get big."
