During a routine visit to the hospital in her third trimester, doctors told Lacey's mom that something was wrong. Upon further inspection, doctors realized that Lacey never developed any arms — yet they had no idea what caused her disability. The more they searched for a cause, the more they came up empty-handed.
Incredibly, this hasn't stopped Lacey from doing the things she wants and needs to do. "God has a special purpose for her, and we wouldn't trade Lacey for anything," says Lacey's grandmother.
