Haley Reinhart and Postmodern Jukebox Share Jazz Cover Of The Cardigans’ “Lovefool”

If you turned on your radio at any point during 1996, you probably heard The Cardigans' hit song "Lovefool." It's hard to think of any song that captures all the stereotypical sounds that made us fall in love with 90's music quite like this one. But Haley Reinhart and Postmodern Jukebox have taken this tune back in time and given it a hot vintage jazz makeover. I didn't think I could love any cover of "Lovefool" more than the original, but this version might have changed that!

Believe it or not, this isn't the first time that this talented group has transformed one of our favorite 90s songs — they recently took Radiohead's "Creep" back to the 1950s and made us fall in love with the song all over again. Haley's voice really lends itself to this type of music, and it almost seems like she was born in the wrong era. But I'm sure thankful she's around today to give us these amazing vintage covers of our favorite songs!

I really love it when time periods collide through music, just like when this 90s singer sang a 60s hit in 2015. We can only hope that Haley and Postmodern Jukebox keep working together to give us an extra-heavy dose of nostalgia. Call me crazy, but I think it would be super cool if they transformed an N*Sync or Backstreet Boys song to sound like it was recorded in the 1950s! Which song do you hope they cover next?

If you love this version of "Lovefool" as much as I do, SHARE this video with all your friends!
