During a VIP pre-show performance at the Philips Arena in Georgia, Luke Bryan got a very unexpected surprise and, luckily, a fan caught it all on camera.
Bryan has had some touching moments at his concerts before, like the time his young son started dancing with him during his show. And who could forget the moment he pulled a young girl on stage to sing “Someone Else Calling You Baby" along with him. The moment below is just as heartwarming to watch.
Bryan's former Georgia neighbor, Bernice Williams, was in the audience cheering him on – and he had no idea until someone shouted it out to him. But, the minute he realized the elderly woman was there, the "Crash My Party" singer leaped off stage to give her a hug. Both of them seemed excited for the mini reunion.
"Good to see you," he said with a huge smile on his face.
Moments later, Bryan hopped on stage and explained to the audience how close their houses were.
“People say that they are your neighbor, but she is, like, my neighbor," he said. “Like, my dogs ate her cat food.”
