In this video, survivalist YouTube channel "NorthSurvival" demonstrates how to make fire with a lemon. Say what?! Yep. This is an awesomely creative survival tip that anyone can achieve, and it's something of which everyone should be aware. After all, you never know when you may need to put this one to use!
All you need for this cool life hack is one lemon, copper clips, zinc nails, wire and steel wool. You can also use copper and zinc coins.
- Roll the lemon in your hand to soften it.
- Push the copper clips into the lemon about one centimeter apart.
- Do the same with the zinc nails, but on the opposite side.
- Take wire and connect the first copper clip to the second zinc nail.
- Connect the second copper clip to the third nail, and so on. This creates a reaction between the copper and zinc, thus creating electricity.
