Although most people wouldn’t want to come face-to-face with a lion, Kevin Richardson dares to do it every day. The fearless zoologist usually turns heads because he's not fearful, choosing to play, sleep and even swim with the wild beasts. He obviously has a unique bond with the animals and it's truly a sight to behold.
In the video, Richardson approaches a lioness who'd just given birth to new cubs. In the wild, these new moms would be very protective of their cubs. But when Richardson approaches her, she welcomes him with open paws. She licks his face and cuddles with him. These two have a special bond. At one point, she even hands over one of her cubs and lets him play with the newborn. It's so unbelievable that this massive animal is so sweet to him.
Richardson has worked on countless documentaries to create awareness about white lions and their conservation. His unique work with these animals has captured the attention and imagination of the world.
