He Lost His Wedding Ring Over Thirty Years Ago. Who Finally Found It? Amazing!

Buddy and Mary Ann Sones have been married since March 3, 1982, but Buddy hasn't been able to wear his wedding ring for over 30 years.

One day, while cleaning catfish in the backyard of his Mississippi home, Sones dropped the ring and lost it. He and his wife have been looking for the gold band for the last 30 years.

After that much time had passed, I can't imagine that Buddy ever thought he would see his precious ring again, but things unfold in the strangest of ways sometimes.

This past summer, Buddy's neighbor Calvin Morris was doing a little landscaping — transplanting rocks between the front and back yards of his house, to be exact — when he noticed a tiny bird's nest on the ground between his and Buddy's houses.

When Morris bent down to examine his find, he saw a glint of gold shining right next to it. Since Sones had previously told him about the missing ring, Morris knew exactly what he had found.

Elated, he almost sprinted over to Buddy's house to give him the ring, but he decided to hold onto it for a special occasion instead.

That time came this past Christmas when Morris presented his neighbors with a card that told them how great it was to have neighbors like them. Inside the card? Buddy's wedding ring that had been lost for over 30 years.

Sones teared up and couldn't even find the words to thank Morris for what he'd done. A ring he thought he would never see again had suddenly come soaring back into his life.

It just goes to show you, folks: Miracles do happen. Never stop looking out for them.
