Ginny Joiner walked into a movie theater with her brother, Charlie, thinking that she was there to watch the latest Fast and the Furious movie (at the time this video was shot): Fast Five.
She couldn’t have been more wrong — but in the best way possible!
Her boyfriend, Matt Still, put on perhaps the most elaborate proposal we’ve seen! After a trailer for The Hangover 2, a special "trailer" created by Matt himself was screened — featuring him asking Ginny’s father for her hand in marriage! Ginny’s initial reaction at the moment she recognizes the voices in the film is absolutely priceless, and luckily there was a camera there to capture her reactions as the trailer played!
But there was much, much more!
The trailer ended with footage of Matt running out of the house, and into the movie theater — the same movie theater Ginny thought she was about to see a movie in! He rushes inside, but not before stopping to purchase some popcorn, and takes a deep breath before entering the theater itself. At that moment in the trailer, he walks in, a camera following him to capture the beautiful moment. And after getting down on one knee, he proposes to Ginny!
And how can you say no after such a show?! Ginny gladly accepted! This moment is bound to go down in romance history, along with this equally elaborate airborne musical proposal, or this proposal within a proposal.
We certainly hope the men are paying attention! This is going to be a hard one to top — but all the same, we’re sure someone out there will be trying to up the ante in no time!
