You may not know Michael Franti by name, but I bet you would recognize his music if you heard it.
It was hard to escape Michael Franti & Spearhead's song "Say Hey (I Love You)" back in 2009, but why would anyone want to if they could?! Franti and his band fuse funk, reggae, hip-hop, soul, pop, rock, and more to create songs that make you want to smile and dance…and his latest single is no different.
Franti says in the following video that he first penned his new song, "Life is Better With You," about three years ago for his girlfriend, Sara Agah. Sara is a nurse and the love of Franti's life, so what else would the singer do to declare his true love than write her a beautiful song? How about make an even better video?
In January 2015, Franti was finally ready to propose — although it seems like he had been planning on it since he wrote the song. He collected clips he took on his iPhone to create what I think is the most beautiful, touching, and thoughtful proposal video of all time. How can you say no to a man who loves you this much?!
