When 16-year-old chip shop worker Michael Rice walked into his audition for UK's "The X Factor," he was soft-spoken and shy when interacting with the judges. But when he opened his mouth to start singing his rendition Whitney Houston's "I Look to You," the judges' jaws hit the floor.
The young man takes center stage, belting the classic ballad with ease and confidence.
"Wow, I wasn't expecting that," gasped judge Simon Cowell. The other judges agreed, and sent him to the next round of the singing competition.
