Georgia Girl Goes Missing Only To Be Found Two Years Later In Mexico — Alive And Healthy

A happy scene occurred in Atlanta, Georgia, this weekend. Majesty Williams, now age 6, was reunited with her father, James Williams, after two years apart. It is believed that her mother Andrea McCord abducted her and took her to Mexico to live with her and her boyfriend.

This case was a joint effort by the Smyrna Police Department, National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and the US Marshals Service. A television show, On Patrol: Live, helped crack the case when someone spotted Andrea and her boyfriend and reported it after watching an episode featuring Majesty’s case. This tip led straight to Majesty.

Majesty’s alleged abduction took place on April 1, 2021, when she was 4 years old. She and her mother were playing at her father’s home in Smyrna, Georgia. James decided to use this time to do some yard work. A decision he surely now regrets.

Andrea allegedly seized this opportunity to take Majesty. When James was distracted working in the yard, she took his car and their daughter. A distraught James reported his daughter missing.

Andrea eventually sent James a text letting him know where she left his car. He found it at a local grocery store with the keys under the seat. Majesty was nowhere to be found.

According to the NCMEC, it is not possible to know exactly how many kids go missing each year because the record-keeping system is faulty and many are simply never reported in the first place. Cases like Majesty’s, which involve abduction by a noncustodial parent, are difficult to publicize. Thankfully REELZ’s On Patrol: Live took on this issue.

Andrea and her boyfriend, Custodio Guerra, were recognized in San Luis Potosi, Mexico. They were living with Majesty there. The couple was arrested and extradited to the United States for their alleged crimes.

One day later, James and Majesty had their heartwarming reunion. “Words cannot express how happy I am to have my daughter back home,” James gushed. All of the agencies involved are equally happy for this positive outcome.

“The Smyrna Police Department is honored to have partnered with NCMEC in the search for Majesty. The Smyrna Police Department used several resources to gain information in locating Majesty, but once we connected with NCMEC our resources grew exponentially,” stated Lt. Meredith Holt, the public information officer at Smyrna Police Department. “We wish Majesty and her father the best as they move forward together.”
