Misty Copeland And Yo-Yo Ma Perform Together On The Late Show

Many ballerinas of all ages have wowed us with their performances.

This ballerina, for example, continued to inspire us well after we saw this clip of her dancing because of her decision to not give up after being paralyzed. But as the first black female principal dancer at the American Ballet Theater, Misty Copeland has touched us all with her graceful moves and her own determination to be an inspiration to all little girls who want to dance, but who don’t fit the mold.

In our eyes, she’s already a legend! So when she performed with Yo-Yo Ma, another legend, on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, we couldn’t help but be amazed yet again by the sheer elegance of her dancing.

This is so much talent on one stage. Yo-Yo Ma moves us with his performance of a piece of Bach’s Cello Suite No. 2, but it’s Misty who steals our focus.

Just watch as she flawlessly executes what appears to be a very complex number. We were taken by her ability to stay en pointe for so long! We can't take our eyes off her at 1:27  we can’t imagine staying on the tips of our toes for that much time!

Please SHARE if you were stunned by Misty’s talent, too!
