These Two Monkeys Sit Down For A Nice Meal. What They Do? Just Like Any Human Couple!

You know those nights when you decide you deserve a night out? An ability to dress to the nines and sit for a nice meal somewhere elegant while you and your mate do some people watching? Upon first inspection, that would appear to be what’s going on with the two monkeys in the video below.

We so frequently see see videos of primates behaving like people, cracking us up with their propensity for mischief — such as with the tiny monkey in a video we posted who met a litter of newborn puppies. His reaction? The wonder of a small child meeting a group of tiny pups. In yet another, a brown capuchin monkey named Chino shows one of his caretakers a new trick during playtime.

When two monkeys play dress-up — one in a spiffy polo shirt and the other in a dainty floral dress — and are seated for dinner in their respective high chairs, we’re left with the feeling that they’re just like any other couple out to a nice meal. They sip their juices out of straws and watch passersby come and go, all the while snacking on their veggie-based eats.
