Entire Air Force Base Freezes Once The National Anthem Starts Playing Over The Speakers

Recently, there has been a lot of controversy surrounding Americans' reactions to the national anthem.

We've seen NFL players take a knee during the anthem, and many believe this to be an outright sign of disrespect to our military members. While these players haven't received any punishment, they have definitely seen backlash, especially from those who have family or friends who risk their lives to keep us all safe.

On the other hand, there also videos emerging of injured and disabled players who go out of their way to stand during the anthem.

And, in a complete opposite realm from the football field, we're now also seeing the inside of a U.S. military base. The video shows how these Air Force families react when the anthem plays at both 7:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. each day.

As soon as the song begins to play, the entire block freezes and everyone stands straight with their hands on their hearts. Even the children slow down and pay their respects during these few minutes.

It's such a moving moment to witness, especially during the tumultuous months and weeks we've all endured lately with the shaky state of the nation before the upcoming presidential election.

I don't know if I'll ever hear our nation's anthem without thinking of these families and their silent respect ever again.
