Tis the season — not just for holidays — but engagements! And New Year's Eve is a wonderful time to propose, as you look to make plans for the future. There are plenty of amazing ways to propose, from flash mobs to subway serenades, but this next guy may have just pulled off one of the most romantic surprise proposals yet.
In the video, which was filmed back on January 1, 2011, the guy convinces his girlfriend to ring in the New Year at home rather than go out. As the time began to get closer, he slyly told her that he wanted to record their kiss at midnight and set up the camera. Little did she know, it would capture her incredible reaction to the proposal.
As they sit on the couch, he pulls the engagement ring from his pocket. She's shocked and suddenly overcome with joy. She goes from a variety of emotions from very surprised, thrilled, to very happy. Of course, she said, "Yes!" It's so cute and funny. What an awesome reaction.
It all comes together at the end, as she's jumping on the couch and admitting she can't wait to update her Facebook status. Aww! Congratulations to the happy couple!
