Brooklyn Woman Allegedly Sets Apartment On Fire After Fight With Her Mom And Injures 8

Anna Lambert is a 34-year-old who has been accused of setting her aparment on fire following an argument with her mother. The fire began around 9 p.m. on March 9, 2022, and Lambert was arrested on arson charges following the blaze.

Lambert's mother told authorities the two fought and then her daughter "poured an unknown substance" on the door of a bedroom before setting it on fire.

Firefighter Steven McGuire documented the experience on Instagram. In a lengthy post, he wrote, "I made my way to the rear of the building. There was heavy smoke and fire coming from the apartment windows. An individual from that apartment was at the window frantically screaming for help."

He continued by sharing details about the rescue of Lambert's mother: "Firefighter Joseph Roggenkamp from #Ladder169, Firefighter Thomas Dolan from #Ladder161 and myself were able to place a portable 35-foot ladder to where the individual was in the window."
