She Was Found Hugging Her Deceased Mother, Now This Adorable Cub Gets A Second Chance!!

What a sweet ending to a tragic beginning. This orphaned baby bear cub named Tahoe was left in a kennel outside of a California rescue center when a stranger found her hugging her mother, who had died. For more than a month now, the wonderful staff at the Bear League have been raising Tahoe by hand, and she has since gained two pounds. She is happy and healthy!! What's even more amazing is that the League will release her back into the wild next year, when she's ready to go back out on her own.

Tahoe is the cutest thing I've ever seen, and what a sweetheart! She loves rolling around, eating apples and being the cute cub she is. I can't wait to see her story unfold.
