Nurse Terry Foster has worked in the ER of a Catholic hospital for over 40 years. In the video below, he tells a crazy story to "Untold Stories of the ER," and trust me — this is good.
In the middle of his shift, Sister Margaret was rushed into Foster's emergency room for a broken hip. But she was no ordinary sister; Sister Margaret was the Director of Nursing who at one point was nurse herself. She even helped establish the hospital in which Foster worked for so long. Needless to say, Nurse Foster wanted Sister Margaret to have the best treatment experience possible.
The Sister was taken to a private treatment section while she waited for surgery. Moments later, another patient was rushed into the ER — only this time, it was a very drunk and very unruly woman who was screaming expletives at the entire medical staff. Nurse Foster had no choice but to put this drunk, cussing woman directly next to the VIP nun. He was absolutely mortified and feared his job was on the line. "I've really got to move her, I've got her right next to a nun," Foster told his fellow nurses.
That's when Sister Margaret called Nurse Foster over. She wanted to speak with him immediately. But nothing could prepare Nurse Foster for what he was about to hear… This video has got drama, humor, and one heck of a punchline.
