For chocolate lovers (like myself), there’s certainly nothing like a spoonful of Nutella. I even prefer the thick hazelnut spread over other chocolate desserts, like soufflé and fudge cakes. That’s why, when I came across the below recipe for Nutella popsicle sticks, I knew I had to try it.
YouTube chef Laura Vitale, whose online show is called Laura in the Kitchen, explained how to make the dessert, which requires very little time and just a few simple ingredients.
Sure, these popsicle sticks are full of calories, like Jason King’s bacon, egg, and sausage rolls or this brownie waffle — but once in a while there’s nothing wrong with indulging in a tasty treat.
You’ll just need a blender, a popsicle mold, and the following ingredients:
- Whole milk
- Heavy cream
- Nutella
- Sweetened condensed milk
All you have to do is add all the ingredients into the blender and mix until it’s smooth. Following this step, you simply pour the mix into the popsicle mold and let it freeze overnight. The next day, they are ready to devour!
At the 3:57 mark, Vitale also displays a useful trick to quickly getting the lid off the popsicle.
