With the chaotic situation in Louisiana, first responders and rescuers have their hands full trying to save every living being they can from the devastating floods.
There are only so many people and animals they can save, and it should come as no surprise that material possessions take a backseat, and are left to be destroyed by the water.
But Baton Rouge police officers couldn't resist the pleas of a young boy, who wanted, of all things, his wrestling belt saved from his flooded home.
He and his family, including mom Shanika Lilly Robertson, were incredibly thankful that they were saved in time by the Underwater Investigative Unit, but the prized possession meant a lot to him.
And when it was retrieved, he couldn't help but show how thankful and happy he was the only way he knew how: by showing off his wrestling moves!
The moment was caught on camera, and amidst the tragedy, it's quite refreshing to see the smile on his face.

The floods in Louisiana have devastated the state, and have forced people out of their homes. Many have had to leave all their possessions behind.

But Shanika Lilly Robertson's son, Kenny, didn't want to leave his most prized possession behind: his wrestling belt.

The unit assisting the family couldn't help but oblige, and returned it to him without hesitation.

Upon hearing the news, and getting his belt back, Kenny thanked them in a very special way: she showed the officers his best moves!

Kenny and Cpl. Doug Chutz horsed around, and the heartwarming moments were caught on camera.

The Baton Rouge Police Department even jokes that is wasn't long before the officer had to "tap out" and give up!
Please SHARE to thank all Louisiana officers and rescuers for all of their efforts in this trying time!
