An Ohio photographer is speaking out after some hilarious newborn photos she captured went viral. Lauren Carson of Cincinnati photographed baby Trent when he was just 7 days old, after his mom, Jessica Mundy, booked a newborn photo shoot. The photographer shared the images of the infant on her photography Facebook account and shared why they stood out to her in comparison to other photo shoots that she's done in the past: the baby's hysterical grumpy expressions.
"I've been photographing newborns for a decade and have photographed hundreds of babies who have given me tons of great expressions," she wrote in the post. "But none, and I mean NONE compare to the looks this sweet guy threw my way." The post garnered over 150,000 likes and continues to rack up more attention.
In an interview with Good Morning America, Lauren explained how the photo shoot started out like most do, and then "he started making those faces and [I] just started capturing them as they came. I was trying to capture all the expressions that I can with newborns because they can be kind of unpredictable sometimes."

"A lot of people just find it really funny," she continued. "I've had a lot of people commenting what they think he would be thinking at the moment, you know, that he looks like a little grumpy old man."
