Rico was a server at a restaurant who was used to helping all sorts of people from all walks of life. For several weeks, he had been watching the same elderly man come into the dining establishment and request to sit at the same table each time.
Rico wasn’t often assigned to be his server, but one day when they were short-staffed and he was working several dining sections at once, the older gentleman came in and Rico knew that he was going to be the one helping him.
When he went up to the man to take his order, Rico was immediately perplexed by his strange order as he requested a toasted cheese and onion sandwich with mayonnaise. The elderly man wouldn’t even really glance in Rico’s direction either, which made the server feel even more uncomfortable.
As he waited for the older man to finish his meal, his manager came up to him to offer some words of encouragement. He told Rico not to worry too much about what the elderly man was doing because he really wasn’t hurting anyone and he would be gone shortly.
As he was delivering his meal, Rico noticed something under the man’s table. It was shiny and Rico immediately recognized that the older man appeared to have a gun holstered to his waist.

At that moment, the older gentleman looked up and noticed that Rico had seen his gun and appeared to be backing away slowly from the table. The older man told him to wait a moment as he wanted to explain something to him.
