One Man Transforms A Rusty Double-Decker Bus Into A Beautiful Home On Wheels

When Adam Collier-Woods bought an old double-decker bus on eBay, he had a a vague plan for what he was going to do with it, but he didn't know exactly what he was in for.

We've seen lots of vehicles transformed into living spaces before, but I don't think I've ever seen a transformation quite on this scale.

For instance, one mom turned a trailer into a happy place just for herself after her kids moved out, and this tiny home makes you rethink what can fit in one of these small spaces.

Collier-Woods' bus, though, had a lot of hurdles to work through. The floor was rotten from all the years of leaky windows in disrepair. The floors and ceilings were curved, and the walls needed to be insulated. This carpenter wanted to do the majority of the work on his own, too, with minimal help from his friends and family.

I wasn't sure he was going to be able to pull it of by the looks of the bus at the beginning, but after all the time and effort he puts in?

It's definitely worth the wait to see what he does with this old bus… I never could have imagined the finished product!

Collier-Woods now rents his masterpiece out for holidays, and you can see more of his double-decker home on his website.
