Opera Singer Startles Group Of Nervous Penguins In This Adorable Viral Video

Penguins are the classiest of animals that live in the wild. They have perfect posture, and you know they're classy and rich because they're always wearing a tuxedo!

So naturally, you would expect such a sophisticated bird to be a strong admirer of the arts, and a staunch supporter of the most respected artistic endeavor of all: the opera. Thinking that he would be giving these beautiful animals quite the treat, renowned tenor Nick Allen belted out a few lines using his beautiful, booming voice.

Nick had been visiting Antarctica to see the sights, and no one has ever thought to try to communicate with wild penguins using the gift of song, but if you watch the video below, you might realize that something got a bit lost in translation! The penguins immediately stop what they're doing to locate the source of the sound. All the while, Nick probably thinks that the penguins might even be approaching him, but it turns out that these flightless birds are flying out of the opera house!

It appears as if these little guys are not fans of the opera, maybe it's because they don't understand Italian or maybe it's because they're animals. Either way, Nick was left a bit embarrassed and without the flock of fans he was expecting — maybe he should stick to just singing to humans.
