For many people, summertime means taking vacations and day trips to to their favorite spots. Some people take trips across the country and some even get the opportunity to travel to other cities and countries across the world. One thing that many summer trips have in common though, is that they include a visit to a body of water.
When a group of tourists went to Saturna Island, British Columbia, they knew they were in for a day of fun, but they probably weren't expecting their day to be quite as exciting as it ended up being.
When they notice some movement in the water off in the distance, they all gather around and take out their cameras and phones…and it's a good thing they did.
As you may have seen in videos before, you never quite know what type of wildlife you might run into when you are near the ocean which is home to so many different creatures. Just check out the paddleboarder who had a run-in with an orca out in the water.
As the group gathers to get a good shot, the orcas that were once out in the distance surprise them by putting on a show directly in front of them!
This once of a lifetime experience makes the entire group go wild, and anyone else who watches is sure to be jealous!
