If you need a reason to be fond of birds, here it is!
Meet Stanley: an African grey parrot who just likes some clean, simple, old-fashioned fun.
Stanley takes pleasure in the little things. After being held in a cage for two years, he was finally adopted by loving and caring family. Upon arriving to his new home, he was finally let out of his cage and he spent his first moments of freedom doing the obvious: sliding down a banister!
Just watch as his new owner, Janice, eggs him on! Even Janice’s dogs “applaud” Stanley by barking when he reaches the end of the banister. We love to see and hear animals being happy, and by his whistling we can certainly tell that Stanley is a happy bird.
We’re ecstatic that Stanley finally found a loving home with many other animals to keep him company and plenty of open space in which he can spread his wings — or in this case, stretch his legs.
Stanley is just the next parrot in the line of parrots who just like to have fun, like this musically-inclined specimen or or this cackling bird.
Stanley won our hearts, and we’re sure he won yours, too!
