Animal Place is an amazing safe haven for rescued animals in Grass Valley, California. Their newest rescue is a baby piglet, whose life was nearly cut short, but now she is safe forever… and she's showing her appreciation in an AMAZING way!
The precious piglet you will see in the following video somehow managed to do the unthinkable. The piglet’s previous owners were not raising this cutie as a pet, she was being raised for the sole purpose of someday being slaughtered.
Somehow, by the grace of God, the tiny piglet managed to escape and was rescued by the Sacramento City animal shelter, before being taken to Animal Place in April 2014. Here, she will get to live the life of a happy pig, playing safely in the sanctuary’s straw and spending the rest of her days without fear or pain. I’m so grateful that this baby will now only know love instead of heartbreak.
