A video showing a group of handsome police officers doing 22 push-ups is quickly spreading all over the internet for a very important reason.
While it seems like it's just all fun and games, these police are participating in the "22 push-up challenge," in which you're supposed to do 22 push-ups over a period of 22 days in order to help spread awareness of the countless brave soldiers who are having a bit of trouble returning from the war.
The number 22 isn't arbitrary either; that number was chosen because on average, 22 veterans die by suicide every day due to post-traumatic stress disorder. These brave soldiers need all of the help that we can give them, and while something as simple as a few push-ups doesn't seem like much at first, it can help a lot just letting them know that they aren't alone and are respected over anyone else in the world!
These cops made it even more difficult for themselves by setting up their feet on the railing above. And even though there seemed to be a little bit of a struggle by the end, they all managed to complete their 22 push-ups in very good form.
Hopefully the funds will be raised to properly help and guide any veterans suffering from PTSD, and hopefully one day soon we won't have to worry about this problem ever again!
