When prom season comes around, we just love checking out all the cool creations young ladies have come up with. Many go through the pains of sewing a dress from scratch to show off their creativity and the work pays off!
It's not just the designs that are out there, but the materials as well. Can you believe that this incredible prom dress was made out of Capri Sun pouches and this one from soda can tabs? That's genius!
This next dress was not quite made for prom, but for the red carpet! A clothing shop owner and model in Thailand named Sine Benjaphorn perhaps made the ultimate dress. She made the frilly creation by sewing bags of her mother's prawn cracker snacks.
Benjaphorn was taken aback with a dress she saw on an actress at the Cannes Film Festival and noticed an uncanny resemblance between the frills and the snacks; she sewed together the bags to create one awesome look.

When a woman in Thailand saw actress Araya Hargate's Cannes Film Festival dress, she was struck with an idea: she could easily recreate the dress using a very unusual material!
The material? Bags of prawn cracker snacks from her mother's food stand!
The woman, named Sine Benjaphorn, even took the dress out for a red carpet appearance.
Not unlike most red carpet dresses, Benjaphorn's creation needed care and attention from an assistant.
The individual crackers are barely discernible from a distance.
The dress certainly catches the eye, and Benjaphorn looks like a princess in it!
