Jenny-May Clarkson, a television sports reporter in New Zealand, was faced with nasty criticism after she was blessed with the news she was pregnant with not one baby, but two.
An angry male viewer wrote a letter to TV Guide New Zealand bashing her network, TVNZ, for keeping her on air with her visible, growing baby bump.
“Who is responsible for allowing a sports presenter in a very pregnant state to remain on screen?"
"I have no problem seeing pregnant women in normal situations or places, but to have them remain on TV in a state which I feel is embarrassing and an eyesore? It's time to replace them.”
But instead of letting the unfair criticism bring her down, Clarkson penned a brilliant viral response…

Jenny-May Clarkson, a sports reporter in New Zealand, is expecting twins with her husband, Dean Clarkson. Of course, the news filled the couple with joy.
"It's a beautiful thing! Although I'm under no illusion that it's going to be really easy, at the end of the day to be blessed with two babies — and at our age — is pretty cool," the 41-year-old told NZ Women's Weekly.

But for one viewer, Clarkson's baby bump wasn't what he wanted to see on TV.
In turn, he shared a cruel message with TV Guide New Zealand, bashing the network for allowing the first-time mom to continue her job.

Clarkson received a ton of support from infuriated readers who were appalled by the man's words.
TVNZ also responded, saying it’s “fully supportive of women working during pregnancy and that it's Jenny-May's choice to decide at what point she takes a break from her role.”
But, nothing was more incredible than the words Clarkson shared on Facebook.

This incident is unfortunately just another example of the way women's bodies are scrutinized by the public.
That's why this brave TV reporter's words are much-needed.
