Families all over the world are getting ready for the holiday season and the traditions that come with it. And the royal family is no exception.
Every year, the Queen hosts a three-day Christmas celebration at her private residence, the Sandringham House. While their traditions may be a tad more luxurious than ours, family is still the center of the festivities.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their children will be attending the royal celebration this year. While not confirmed, it is rumored that Meghan Markle will be joining her fiancé at the Christmas festivities as well.

Prince William, the Duchess of Cambridge, and Prince Harry will all be joining the Queen for Christmas at the Sandringham House, their private residence.
The Queen and her family attend church at 11 a.m., following a traditional English breakfast.
It's rumored by an Us Weekly source that Meghan Markle will be joining the royal family for Christmas. This would be the first time a fiancée will have been invited, since it's customary that only married couples attend the party.
Before Kate Middleton married Prince William, she was not allowed to attend Christmas with the Queen and her family.
Over the years, the Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William have spent time with both of their families.
This year, the family will be joining the Queen.
According to an Us Weekly source, the family will have a lunch that resembles many families'. They will enjoy two roast turkeys.
According to the same source, Prince George and Princess Charlotte will eat their own roast turkey separate from their family.
The source said that the turkey will be carved and enjoyed by the siblings in the children's nursery.
Prince William recently visited Santa Claus to show him Prince George's Christmas wish list, which included a police car.
The Queen and her family may do things a little differently than you and I, but family always comes first for them — especially during the holiday season!
