Princess Eugenie Appears To Distance Herself From Andrew With New Sex Trafficking Podcast

Princess Eugenie might be taking a stand against her father's recent allegations … without directly doing so. The royal and mother of one is reportedly launching a series of podcasts this year, and one is specifically about sex trafficking.

The podcast in question will cover modern slavery in all of the ways it currently exists. Prince Andrew has spent the better part of two years under fire for allegations of sexual abuse and assault as part of his reported relationship with sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.

Royal authority Emily Prescott has written extensively about the podcast for the Daily Mail. She explains, "A source tells me that the Princess plans to spend the summer ‘doubling down’ on her charity commitments and will be increasingly visible in her role as founder of the Anti-Slavery Collective as she bids to distance her own reputation from what is left of the Duke of York’s."

Emily also reveals, "Her father, pointedly, will not be one of them – and a Royal source confirms that there have been ‘zero’ conversations between the father and daughter on the topic."

In fact, she goes on to add that Eugenie is said to have not spoken to her father for a month following his settlement with Virginia Giuffre.

Eugenie was in Los Angeles for work ahead of the announcement, and apparently she opted to stay in the city for an additional two weeks after it was made. She stepped out twice with her cousin Prince Harry while in the city.

Emily goes on to note that during this time, Princess Beatrice has been visiting with her grandmother frequently, and it appears that something might be amiss between the two sisters.

"There has been disquiet about a rift between father and daughter and even between Princess Beatrice and Eugenie," Emily says.

She continues, "There is a feeling that Beatrice is closer to her dad at the moment. But the party line is that any distance between members of the family could never last – they are too close for that."
