It's hard not to be fascinated by the British royal family.
For the past 25 years, they've been incredibly popular figures in the public eye. Arguably, this started with Princess Diana, who was a renowned and beloved figure. Her charitable nature and frequent patronage to worthy causes made the "People's Princess" an international celebrity.
Many royal family fans consider Kate Middleton to be a bit like the "second coming" of Princess Diana. The Duchess of Cambridge has also dedicated herself to various charitable causes and has a distinctive, impeccable fashion sense, just like her late mother-in-law.
Duchess Kate and Princess Diana are two of the most popular royals, but some of the less often discussed members of the family had equally interesting and memorable public lives — like Princess Margaret, whose recently revealed morning routine is driving people absolutely wild.

Princess Margaret, Countess of Snowdon, was the younger daughter of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother.
She was also the only sibling of the current British monarch, Queen Elizabeth II.
But much like her older sister, Margaret never expected to be a prominent member of the royal family.
Their father (originally known as Prince Albert, the Duke of York) was the second son of King George V and, for that reason, wasn't expected to take the throne. However, his brother Edward VIII's abdication put Prince Albert on the throne, as George VI, catapulting the unexpected king and his two daughters into the spotlight.
Of course, when Elizabeth assumed the throne at the age of 25, her then 21-year-old sister became even more of a public figure as the sister of the reigning Queen of England.
The late princess was a popular public figure of her day, much like Princess Diana and the Duchess of Cambridge.
"For the tired and straitened Britain of the late '40s and early '50s, following the activities of a young, pretty, unmarried princess was deemed by the press to be a popular compensatory public pleasure," The Guardian said of the public's interest in Princess Margaret's rather scandalous social life. "She was the Diana of her day."
Princess Margaret died in 2002 at the age of 71, only weeks before her and Queen Elizabeth's mother passed away as well.
But with a recent tweet, there seems to be plenty of renewed interest in Princess Margaret's apparently luxe and leisurely life.
Writer Gareth Roberts shared a breakdown of part of Princess Margaret's morning routine — and it's pretty relaxed (to put it mildly).
According to Roberts, this was the late princess' routing circa 1955, when she was around 25 years old.
For anyone who loves sleeping in and relaxing on the weekends, Margaret's life sounds like an ideal existence.
My favorite part is her daily early afternoon "vodka pick-me-up," followed shortly thereafter by half a bottle of wine during a cheese-filled lunch with her mom. The hour-long noon bath isn't too shabby either!
Needless to say, Roberts' followers were stunned and amused by this information.
The writer informed commenters that this morning "schedule" was excerpted from a recent biography of Princess Margaret's life, Ma'am Darling, by Craig Brown.
"This post has made my day! Long may it reign — tiara’s, long baths, and vodka breaks for all!" one person commented.
Another user shared a photo of Margaret from her youth that seems to epitomize this lifestyle: the late princess in a bath, wearing her tiara and what appears to be a full face of makeup.
Princess Margaret married common-born photographer Antony Armstrong-Jones (later made Earl of Snowdon) in 1960, eventually giving birth to two children: son David, Viscount Linley, and daughter Lady Sarah.
But it was a romance in Margaret's younger days that was recently brought back to the public's attention, thanks to the Netflix series The Crown.
Margaret was famously involved with Peter Townsend, a divorcé, and she wanted to marry him. Due to the Royal Marriages Act of 1772 (which incidentally also requires Prince Harry to ask his grandma if he can marry Meghan Markle, should he decide to do so), Queen Elizabeth was required to give her permission.
After a lot of back and forth, the Queen decided that the union would be allowed if her sister agreed to be removed (along with any children from the marriage) from the line of succession to the throne.
Princess Margaret, whose right to marry as she pleased was reportedly supported by the British public, issued a statement that she had decided not to marry Townsend in order to put her "duty to the Commonwealth" above her romantic desires.
Wasn't Princess Margaret's life incredibly fascinating?
