Hi, my name is Caroline and I'm a shopaholic. It's hard to pinpoint exactly how and why this addiction started, but I think binge-watching QVC shows as a kid had a lot to do with it.
Forget about reality TV, home shopping shows are without a doubt some of the most addicting programs on the tube. QVC might have some truly brilliant sales techniques, but as you'll see in the following video, that doesn't mean their presenters are the brightest stars in the solar system… or should I say moons?
In this hysterical clip from a segment that slings colorful cardigans, host Jane Treacy wears one of the sweaters and describes it in a pretty confusing way. “It kind of looks like what the Earth looks like when you’re a bazillion miles away from the planet Moon,” Treacy says.
Co-host Isaac Mizrahi, always quick with a witty comment, responds "The planet Moon…" before Treacy backpedals and says "Isn't the Moon a star?" The two go back and forth in one of the strangest — and most hilarious — solar system debates of all time.
For the record, the Moon is a moon, a natural satellite that orbits the Earth. Try not to think about it for too long.
