It Looks Like A Normal Cupcake, But When She Cuts It In Half? OMG!

We're only a few days away from St. Patrick's Day, which means that everyone with an Irish heritage (and even many folks that have no such thing) are getting ready to dress up in green, put on their favorite St. Patrick's Day nail polish, indulge in a few Leprechaun Hat S'mores, and wash it all down with their very own DIY Shamrock Shake.

Well, if you're planning to have some people over to celebrate the holiday, you may want to be prepared with a few more things to eat than just those special S'mores. That's where the below video from YouTuber MyCupcakeAddiction comes in.

By following along with the video, not only are you going to learn how to make some ridiculously cute St. Patrick's Day rainbow cupcakes, but when you're guests bite into them for the first time they're going to get an amazing surprise: rainbow colored cake!

These things are delicious and gorgeous, and they're not all that tough to assemble. If you follow the video carefully, you should be able to pull it off without any trouble.

There are quite a few ingredients involved for the decorations (as well as something you'll need to print out for the rainbows), so make sure you check out both the video and the video description where you can find a link to download the printable rainbows.

The rest of the recipe calls for making a rainbow cake, similar to the way you might make the tie-dye surprise cake that we've shared before. You'll make six individually colored bowls of cake mix, put them into a cake pan in a grid pattern, and then cut circles out of the rainbow cake.

Then you'll put your circles in the cupcake tin and surround it with your green cupcake mix. The rest is all about decorating. If you watch the video, you'll see how she adds the rainbow print outs, little gold coins on the top, and the green frosting.

I don't know about you, but I'm definitely planning to try this out for our St. Patrick's Day gathering!
