After all, Easter is a fun opportunity to eat some candy, but it's also a major religious holiday for a lot of folks.

Here's how it works: You prepare the roll with a marshmallow in the middle, but when you bake it, the marshmallow melts and disappears!

Even if your family is totally secular, this is still a really fun recipe and magic trick to the show your kiddos.

Ingredients
- Jumbo-size marshmallows
- Crescent rolls
- Cinnamon sugar
- Butter, melted
- Baking spray
- Icing
Instructions
- Roll out crescent dough on floured surface and separate the sections.
- Dunk marshmallows in melted butter, then roll in cinnamon sugar until thickly coated.
- Carefully wrap crescent roll around marshmallow and pinch into place.
- Place rolls on greased baking sheet, and bake 12 to 15 minutes at 400 °F.
- Drizzle with icing if desired.
- Bite in an enjoy!

First, gather together all your materials. You'll just need a few ordinary grocery store items:
- Jumbo-size marshmallows
- Crescent rolls
- Cinnamon sugar (you can buy ready-made, or mix together cinnamon and granulated sugar)
- Half a stick of butter
- Baking spray
First, unpack your tube of crescent rolls and lay them out flat on a floured surface.
Roll them out and separate the triangles of dough. You can also prearrange on a greased baking sheet if desired.
Set aside the dough for later.
Melt your stick of butter in the microwave in half-inch chunks, pausing every 20 seconds or so to stir. You don't want to burn it!
Then dunk each marshmallow in the butter until it's fully coated on all sides. Shake off any excess grease.
Roll each buttered marshmallow in the cinnamon and sugar mixture until fully coated.
Once the marshmallows are baked, the cinnamon and sugar will melt together with the butter to form a delicious caramelized crust inside the roll.
Place each marshmallow in the widest part of a triangle of dough.
Roll the dough up, folding the marshmallow into the middle until it is completely wrapped in dough.
Then pinch the edge of the dough into place to secure. You can brush with egg wash if desired.
Pop the rolls in the oven for 12 to 15 minutes at 400 °F.
You want to bake them just long enough to melt the marshmallow inside, but not long enough for them to get charred and start to collapse around the hollow middle.
When the rolls are done, let them sit on a cooling rack.
While they're cooling, you can drizzle them with icing if desired.
A little bit of icing can add just the right extra bit of sweetness to take these rolls to the next level!
