There's nothing like a watching an incredible blast from the past reminding us just how much entertainment has changed over the years.
Whether it's a soulful performance from The Temptations or the ladies of Shangri-Las performing their No. 1 in the 1960s, there's something magical about these black and white clips.
The British Pathé shared this gem below on its YouTube page showing some unbelievable rock and roll dancing in Germany during the 1950s. The moves shown here are quick, energetic, and insanely entertaining. Of course they are far different than what you might find at a rock concert today.
"This is one of the best youth related items in the 1950s Pathe Newsreels," the caption reads.
As several couples perform classic swing dance routines, it's hard to keep your eyes off the two people rolling on the floor in sync at the beginning of the clip. They are superb!
Several YouTube viewers were also impressed by the dancing in the old clip while others became nostalgic.
"The 50's were the best!!!" one viewer wrote.
"Daring, innovative and crazy, but those were the days. I'm approaching 70 but still like to dance like this if I could, almost. Thanks for sharing," another said.
