When WWI ended, the world was a very different place. Women were gaining more and more respect, and as the hemlines got higher, the morals of the time got a little looser.
The fever pitch of the roaring twenties really came to its peak in the speakeasies of New York City. As the liquor continued to flow, the popular dance crazes coming from the jazz bars like the Cotton Club soon began to spread all throughout.
The famous flapper came onto the scene. The new carefree woman who changed everything for the future of womankind. She shed her foremother's clothes, cut her hair short, and threw off the corset.
She was the complete antithesis of the Edwardian woman, and with her new attitude, the newest dance craze came with her: the Charleston.
So nearly 100 years later, when a Russian woman by the name of Ksenia Parkhatskaya decided she wanted to learn how to properly do the famous dance, everyone was completely blown away by what she was capable of pulling off.
Keep your eyes on her legs if you can; her natural ability, energy, raw talent, and overall skill make this woman one of the most captivating dancers we've ever seen.
The video itself has gone full viral, and when you watch her dancing, you'll easily understand why she's so popular. Ksenia needs to come to the states as soon as possible to dance for America's Got Talent.
Not only is she an incredible dancer, but she can sing, too! Now that's what we call a real artist. With talent like that, you'll know she'll win in a heartbeat!
I'm out of breath just watching her!
Please SHARE her incredible dancing if you think she should come to America!
