If you get on a boat in some of our planet's colder waters, you're bound to see some amazing creatures. Orcas, penguins, and even polar bears can be seen if you know where to look (and get a little lucky). But even though you might expect to see wildlife, the wildlife usually doesn't expect to see you. This relaxed seal got a big surprise when a boat full of people passed by in Alaska, and the way he reacted has me in tears of laughter!
This poor seal might have been a bit surprised by the presence of these odd-looking strangers, but believe it or not, these animals have actually been known to be quite friendly with humans. If you don't believe me, just check out what happened when one tourist came face-to-face with one of these adorable, blubbery creatures!
Even though this funny animal seemed more startled than scared, I can hardly blame him for jumping so much. Seals really love their downtime. In fact, this seal loves napping so much, he had no problem taking a snooze on someone's surfboard! Honestly, I react the same way when I hear my alarm go off in the morning, so I can totally see why this cutie would be so freaked out to hear a loud "Hey!" while he was daydreaming.
