Crystal had perfect teeth as a child. But after her second pregnancy, she was eating a salad when her front tooth suddenly snapped off. From there, her dental issues only worsened.
She suffered from corrosion, infections, and abscesses. By the time she was 30 years old, Crystal had only nine teeth in her mouth.
The dentist told Crystal the necessary treatment would cost upward of $40,000. But as a single mom, she simply could not afford it. She was willing to try anything, so she decided to get creative and turned to the internet instead.

By watching tutorials on molding, cutting, and fitting, Crystal ended up learning how to make her very own dentures out of polymorph beads. And what would have cost her tens of thousands of dollars ended up costing her only a few cents every two weeks.
While the DIY dentures helped, it should come as no surprise that they didn't exactly solve the problem. She still had pain in her teeth and pressure on her gums.
"The first time I put them in, I cried," Crystal told the experts on The Doctors.
In the video, Crystal shows her new dentist her homemade teeth, something he admits he's never seen before. She also finds out whether they're doing her more harm than good.
