She Covers Half Her Cheek In Black Paint, Then Draws White Squares For A Creepy Halloween Look

Halloween is just around the corner, but it's not too late to find the perfect costume!

And even if you already know what you're dressing up as, you may need some killer makeup ideas to pair it with.

If you're anything like me, the thought of doing your own makeup is enough to scare your pants off. Even if I try a simple cat eye, I'm sure to mess up. I am certainly not patient enough to do anything more complex than a single line of eyeliner.

But, as this tutorial proves, you don't have to be a makeup artist to create an awesome, creepy, and realistic look straight out of a horror movie: it's the ever-frightening stretched lip look.

There are many versions of this tutorial, but this is certainly one of the easiest to follow. With one brush, one palette, and a couple of strokes, you can master this makeup trend in no time.

First, use black lines to outline your stretched lip. Use pink on the border as an extension of your lips. Draw in your teeth, add some finishing touches for a realistic effect, and you're all ready to go.

Would you try this on yourself, or even on your kids? Let us know in the comments, and tell us what your creative costume is this Halloween!
