Woman With the ‘Biggest Breasts in the UK’ Learns She Actually Has Little-Known Medical Condition

As a woman who is a DDD cup, being endowed isn’t all it is cracked up to be. My friends with smaller chests have expressed their envy, but the truth big breasts can be a nuisance. I’ve heard every commentary under the sun about my breasts, have had trouble fitting into clothing because of them, and have been wearing a bra since second grade. Not to mention, the back pain at times is terrible. There are plenty of women bigger-chested than I who are extremely uncomfortable with their size, but few reach the size Summer Robert of the UK has.

According to LAD Bible, Roberts lives with a natural size R cup.

For context, the largest typical cup size is a G/F. By the age of 8, Robert claimed she had already reached a full C size cup. By 14, Robert said she went to the doctor with concerns about her rapidly growing chest and allegedly was told she was not a candidate for reduction surgery due to her “high BMI.” And every time she went after that, doctors reportedly gave her the same response.

“I’ve been going to the doctor since I was a teenager; no one could actually help,” Robert once told Mamamia.

Then, she found a lump in her breast. Luckily it wasn’t cancerous, but the specialist recommended her to a surgeon for a reduction as there was so much mass the potential of another forming was high. It seemed like she was finally getting her wish.

But when Robert went to the surgeon, they told her once again her BMI was too high for surgery.

They did, however, finally give her an answer as to why her breasts had grown 11 sizes in a year. She was diagnosed with macromastia; a condition where breast tissue grows rapidly. According to Nationwide Children’s Hospital, the condition is “idiopathic,” meaning there is no one determinate cause for the growth.

As a result, treatment is limited to taking nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, massage, and exercise. Mostly doctors monitor for changes in mass, or for lumps, and see if the growth stabilizes. The only other treatment is a breast reduction and recommended psychological care, as many people who live with it struggle with body image issues.

Robert certainly can attest to that factor. “I used to get harassed all the time,” she told Mamamia. “I hated my body. I’ve had an ex-boyfriend’s parents tell me I shouldn’t be wearing a bikini in a swimming pool,” she continued. “I’m like, ‘what am I meant to wear?'” She also claims she has been kicked out of establishments for being “indecent.”

Robert said things changed for her while she was working at a bar.

She stated she was finishing up a 12-hour shift when two men wandered in heavily intoxicated.

“I was so tired and these two men came in, and they were clearly drunk and annoying,” she recalled to Mamamia. “The first thing they said was, ‘Oh my god, look at the size of her [redacted]!”

“You’re like the Scottish Dolly Parton,” one allegedly said. “He kept calling me Scotch Dolly and shouting the name at me.”

It wasn’t until the bar chef came out that the two men left. As she vented her frustrations to him, the chef convinced her to start an OnlyFans account under the moniker “Scotch Dolly” as a way to turn a negative into a positive. She reluctantly agreed and woke up the next morning having earned $800 in one night.

She also began receiving endless messages praising her appearance, which shifted her perspective about her body. Now, even if she were able to do the reduction, she says she likely wouldn’t unless it became absolutely medically necessary.

“I love my body so much now. I’m super confident in my own skin, and I’m happy that it’s become a positive thing, because growing up it was not. But now it is, and I’m happy.”
