Jelly Roll And Bunnie Xo Divorce Comes After She Revealed His Infidelity: ‘Been Through Hell’

Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo were one of country music’s most popular couples, but everything wasn’t always peachy in their relationship. And apparently, the marriage is no more after reports broke Monday that the singer filed for divorce on May 18 in Tennessee.

The move comes just months after Bunnie addressed some of their marital issues in her memoir, “Stripped Down: Unfiltered and Unapologetic.”

The book was released Feb. 17. “I tried to be as real as possible with the situation,” she told US Weekly. “I think I might have even toned it down.”

The situation? Well, the couple was married in 2016, and she claimed Jelly Roll had not always been faithful.

“It’s just really important to be real,” Bunnie told US Weekly. “My husband is my best friend. I (expletive) love that man — and we have been through hell.

“It’s raw, it’s emotional and it’s a journey,” she added. “I’m so happy for people who have never had to go through anything traumatic in their relationships. But I just feel like my husband and I had to go through that because it’s part of our testimony. It’s a part of what we’ve survived — we choose to be together every day.”

US Weekly noted that Jelly Roll has previously revealed that he cheated on his wife, calling it “one of the worst moments of my adulthood.”

Bunnie Xo told the outlet that it was difficult for her to move past the betrayal.

“I don’t think anybody can just snap out of it,” she said. “It is a process. You’re literally grieving and you’re heartbroken but you’re still in love with this person. Even though the affair is a part of the book, it’s not our story.”

Instead, she told US Weekly, that it was what “catapulted us into what we are today.”

“It completely changed who we are as humans and how we looked at love,” she said. “We didn’t know how to love each other properly. We both were raised in opposite households but weren’t taught how to love correctly.”

Unfortunately, just months later, it appears where they are is on the outs for good.
