Despite her non-stop rehearsals, 16-year-old Tamera Foster was obviously very nervous when she stepped on stage to audition for the X Factor UK. It was her first time performing as a soloist. She was so nervous, in fact, that just a few measures into her performance of Whitney Houston's "I Have Nothing" she froze in horror then walked off stage.
But she wasn't giving up yet. After a few brief words with her family, Tamera came back out to give it one more shot. And–holy moly–what an incredible, powerful performance! I had chills almost the entire way through this, but especially when she hit the chorus for the last time. Nice job, Tamera!
