Some serial murderers elude investigators for years — and sometimes decades — before being apprehended. But interestingly, the Zodiac, thought to be the most famous serial killer, has still NEVER been caught. This cold-blooded case remains a total mystery that no true detective could solve. Not to scare you, but this means the guy is in fact still roaming free.
In fact, that isn't the only terrifying killer still at large. Dark5 has compiled the top five serial killers whose true identities remain a complete mystery. Among them, the dangerous and psychopathic Beer Man of India, the poisonous yukaihan Vending Machine Killer of Japan, the disturbingly punctual February 9th Killer, the gruesome Long Island (Craigslist) Serial Killer, and, of course, the Zodiac.
