1. Cutting Down A Cactus

In Arizona, it's illegal to cut down a cactus. That's because it takes decades for some sorts of cacti to grow to their full height, and they can remain under 2 inches for the first 10 years of their life.
The maximum sentence for cutting down a cactus is 25 long years.
2. Forgetting Your Wife's Birthday

3. Pretending To Be A Witch

In Canada, you can be arrested for pretending to be a witch. There isn't really any language that says being an actual witch is illegal. It's just the false advertising that can get you in trouble, according to Clarke Criminal Law.
4. Falsely Announcing A Death

Faking death is illegal in Australia. The same goes for fake births, false funeral announcements, sham engagements, and announcing a job you don't actually have.
5. Depicting Time Travel

In China, as of 2011, it's illegal to show time travel on TV. The government controls what you see on your screens, and they think that time travel promotes false history, reincarnation, feudalism, and superstition, according to TIME.
6. Eating A Hamburger On Sunday

In St. Cloud, Minnesota, it's Illegal to eat a hamburger on Sunday. Strange, hard to enforce, and largely forgotten, but still on the books.
7. Using The Name Of A President To Sell Alcohol

In Michigan, you can't use a president's name to sell alcoholic beverages. It's unclear how this one made it into the books in the first place, but it can get you into trouble.
8. Stepping On Money

In Thailand, it's illegal to deface any image of the king, whose face happens to be on Thai money. If you step on any Baht, you could end up in jail, according to World Nomads.
9. Naming A Pigeon Napoleon

In France, it's illegal to name a pigeon Napoleon, as it's a slight to the former emperor and general. I wonder why just pigeons, and not any other bird? Most birds are pretty small, even the larger ones.
10. Interrupt A Wedding

In South Australia, you can get up to a $10,000 fine or 2 years in prison if you interrupt a wedding. The same thing goes for funerals, according to official Australian documents.
