Imagine you're on the vacation of a lifetime. You've traveled halfway across the world to see some of the most amazing natural sights that the world has to offer.
In the wild of South Africa, a woman on vacation was enjoying every minute of her incredible experience. She had already seen some wild animals in their natural habitat and must have felt incredibly lucky to be given the chance to explore everything that this beautiful land had to offer.
But it was at the Thanda Game Reserve, a place that ensures that these beautiful creatures aren't killed by horrible poachers, that this woman saw a sight that was truly bizarre. Of all the moments spent in the wild lands of Africa, it was actually at a local (human made) lodge that she got really up close and personal with a group of amazing animals.
She heard some odd noises coming from the deck, and when she stepped out to see what it could be, it must have been quite the shock. Five huge elephants had discovered the hot tub, and since it was a particularly hot day, they were going to town and drinking up all of that valuable water. Elephants can drink up to 50 gallons of water a day, so it shouldn't be a surprise if this tub is empty by the time they're through with it!
