If you've ever seen the movie "Forgetting Sarah Marshall", you know that rocker Aldous Snow was the role that actor/comedian Russell Brand was BORN to play. If you haven't seen the movie, you'll probably want to after you watch Brand's original audition tape for the film. I was in stitches… the man is a genius!
Improv is definitely not for everyone. It takes a very special talent to come up with raw comedy on the spot and keep up with others at the same time, but comedians like Brand make it look simple. When the casting director explained the scene to Brand, all I could think about was where do you even begin?! Brand is amazing, because I didn't even know when his audition started. He just went for it. Hysterical!
